• 1 tbsp. honey
• 1 oz. dried astragalus root
• 1 oz. dried angelica root
• 1/2 oz. dried chamomile
• 1 tsp. dried ginger
• 1 tsp. dried orange peel
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 1 tsp. cardamom seeds
• 10 oz. alcohol (recommended: 100 proof vodka)
What do you need to do with this ingredients:
First, you need to dissolve the honey in 2 teaspoons of boiling water and when it dissolves you need to let it cool down. When it cools down you need to add all of the other ingredients to it, pour it into a jar and add the alcohol. You need to seal the jar tightly and place it in a cold and dark place. You need to let this bitter infuse properly for about 2 to 4 weeks, and during this time you need to shake the jar once per day. When it’s done, strain everything through a cheesecloth and store it in an airtight container.
You can use this tonic with hot tea or you can drink a few drops of this tonic early in the morning when you wake up, and we guarantee you that your immune system will be good as new.
The only time when you are not recommended to drink this kind of tonic is if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
